To use advanced pixel tracking, follow these steps.
Click on “Codes And Links” in the “Click Trackers” sub menu.
In the “Advanced Pixel Conversion Tracker Code” section, you will see two snippet of HTML code. The first is a basic advanced pixel tracker snippet of code and the second one is a more advanced pixel tracker snippet of code.
You will notice at the end of the url after the (?) Question mark a single or series of key value pairs.
These key value pairs are recorded when an advanced pixel tracker loads. These keys and values can be anything you like but can’t contain special characters or spaces.
A single advanced pixel tracker can contain a single key value pair or a series of key value pairs.
Here are some examples of key value pairs.
pagelocation=thankyoupage1
pagelocation=thankyoupage2
Onetimeoffer=oto1
Onetimeoffer=oto2
sourceofclick=fred
sourceofclick=joe
clickvalue=5.00
clickvalue=0.50
It’s up to you to decide what keys and values you would like to record when an advanced pixel tracker is loaded.
Place this code snippet just below the opening
tag on the pages you would like to track or as high on the page as you possibly can. It must be between the and tags on each page you are tracking.
